Claremont is a planned resort community encompassing 556 homes for active adults (55 and older). No full-time residents under the age of 18 reside in the Claremont community.
There are four homeowner associations, each with its own Board of Directors. The Claremont Civic Association (CCA) is the master association. All homeowners belong to the Civic Association and enjoy its amenities. There are three sub-associations: Claremont Townhomes (CTA), Claremont Greens (CGA), and Claremont Greens Townhomes (CGTA).
The Clubhouse, many single-family homes, and the Claremont Townhomes are located on the west side of Bethany Boulevard. The Greens clubhouse, called the "Terrace House," the Greens single-family homes, and the Greens Townhomes, are located on the east side of Bethany Boulevard.
Within Claremont, the Architectural Review Committee (ARC) is responsible for maintaining the architectural and landscaping integrity of the residential portions of the community. Two House Committees are responsible for maintaining the Clubhouse, the Terrace House, the pools and their perspective common areas. The Landscape Committee and the Greens Grounds Committee oversee common area landscaping and water features maintenance.
The Clubhouse
The Clubhouse, located at 15800 NW Country Club Drive, is a beautiful facility for the use of our homeowners. A daily copy of the Oregonian, the New York Times and Wall Street Journal can be found to enjoy with a cup of coffee in the Fireside Room. The Great Hall is perfect for larger gatherings such as weddings and anniversaries. We also have an exercise room, swimming pool, croquet and lawn bowling green as well as tennis courts.
The Clubhouse is the “hub” of Claremont. Many clubs meet here and community-wide social events are held here. The office is staffed from 9 am to 3 pm, Monday through Friday. Our staff can help you reserve the Clubhouse for private parties and gatherings.
The Terrace House
The Terrace House, located at 15355 NW Saint Andrews Drive, is the clubhouse for events and meetings for residents of the Greens. If you would like to reserve the Terrace House for a private party or gathering, please contact Lyn Inglett and she will be able to assist you.

Claremont Golf Course
The Claremont Golf Course is a beautiful nine-hole, par 36 public golf course. Claremont residents may apply for a membership of the Claremont Men's Golf Club or the Claremont Women's Golf Club. Both clubs offer a variety of social events and tournaments. Social memberships are also available for non-golfers that would still like to participate.
Ownership by homeowners is essential to preserving the 63 acres and protecting property values of all Claremont residents. Since its acquisition, support from our community has been remarkable, and many improvements have been made to make our course one of the finest community-owned courses in the region.
Claremont Golf Club is managed by PGA Director Anthony Wik, PGA. For information about our Claremont Golf Course and tee-time reservations, call the Golf Shop at 503.690.4589 or visit www.claremontgolfclub.com
